Proelium shakes off the melted snow on the surface of his pelt and sits down. "You forest wolves aren't used to such weather. Rub against each other to bring back some warmth," Proelium instructs. "Won't you need to warm up?" Current asks and starts to rub against Willow's flank. "I've lived with this all of my life, I'm used to it," Proelium replies.

Jay sighs. "Forest wolves shouldn't come here. They never learn," he complains, nipping clumps of ice from his mane.

Ice nods. "In my opinion, every wolf should know about the mountains. It's the best place to live."
Soie narrows her golden eyes. "Not every wolf is adapted to living here," she reminds her sister. "What about forest wolves like Sunny and Willow? Their golden fur might blend in with the sun-dappled leaves of the forest, but here they stick out like poison berries on a blanket of snow!"
"Besides," Moon adds, agreeing with Soie, "I like how sparsely populated the mountains are. If they were crowded like the forest, there would be no prey to go around! We don't have such an abundant amount of food."

"We must go back to our mother we are sorry to leave but we must see our mother." Fire Run says as he turns to leave.
